- Toledo – Guided walking tour (60min), free time while you can visit the Cathedral with guide if selected option
- Return pick up from Toledo
- Transportation on bus (approx. 1 hour) to return to Madrid
Tour Schedule
Find bus departure times
This is a 9 hours tour, with 2 departures per day: at 9:00am and at 12:00pm from Stop #1 (Neptune Fountain). Please arrive 30 mins before your scheduled departure in order to allow time to take seats on the bus. The tour will depart from the centre of Madrid and at the end you will be dropped off at the same place. The 9am departure will return back to Madrid at 6pm, while the 12pm departure will return to Madrid at 8:30pm.
Artisanal Sword-Making Workshop
Discover ancient craftsmanship in Toledo
The tour includes an immersive visit to an artisanal workshop in Toledo that specialises in the ancient craft of Damascus steel sword making, preserved since medieval times. During this 40-minute workshop you'll see swordsmiths at work with the coal forge and hammer, and admire the artisinal skills of inlay and engraving. Swords and other souvenirs are available to purchase.

Important Information
Check before your tour
On the day of your tour, please show your booking confirmation (printed OR on your mobile device) to Big Bus Tours staff at Stop #1 (Fuente Neptuno, the tourist bus stop in front of the Madrid Tourist Office) at least 15 minutes prior to your chosen departure time. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, and bringing along your hat, suncreen, water bottle and camera. Please note the tour is not fully wheelchair accessible. Service animals are permitted but pets are not permitted.
