Service Amendments - Sunday, March 16th 2025
Dear Customers,
Our service will be subject to some amendments on Sunday 16th of March, 2025, due to road closures that will be in place to accommodate the LA Marathon. The following amendments will be in place:
Service Amendments:
- Hollywood loop will have a delayed start, first bus of the day will depart at 1:00pm from Stop #1 (Big Bus Visitor Center, 6763 Hollywood Boulevard)
- Hollywood Loop will operate with departures set to occur every 30-45 minutes until 6:30pm, last bus departing at 6:30pm and finishing by 8:30pm.
- The Beach Shuttle will be CLOSED all day.
We are also expecting to encounter very heavy traffic which may cause some delays.
Normal service will resume on Monday, 17th of March.

Standard Service Information
The Hollywood Loop (Red Route):
First Bus: 10:00am from Stop #1 (Big Bus Visitor Center Hollywood, 6763 Hollywood Boulevard).
Last Bus: 4:30pm at Stop #1 (Big Bus Visitor Center Hollywood, 6763 Hollywood Boulevard).
Full Circuit Time: 2 hours (approx.)
Bus Frequency: every 30–45 minutes.
The Beach Loop (Blue Route):
Departs Stop #7 (Beverly Gardens Park, 9385 Santa Monica Blvd): 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:15pm.
Departs Stop #16 (Santa Monica Pier, 1450 Ocean Ave, Santa Monica): 11:00am, 12:00am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:45pm
Full Circuit Time: 1 hour & 45 minutes (approx.)
Bus Frequency: 5/6 shuttles daily (see times above).

Closure Dates
Big Bus Tours Los Angeles will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. We will remain open on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day.
On rare occasions, we may need to temporarily suspend all service in the instance of very poor weather or for unplanned city events.
