Do I need to choose a date for my tour?
Yes – when you book, you will need to select the date you’d like to hop on the bus. If you’re touring with us for more than one day, your ticket must be used across consecutive days, and the date you select at time of booking should be the first day of your tour. Some tours also require you to select a time of travel, to secure your seat. If your ticket has extra inclusions, you may also need to book dates and times for these inclusions after your purchase is complete via our Booking Portal. Our bus stops are conveniently located near popular landmarks and attractions so that you can hop off to explore with ease. You'll see iconic landmarks like Trinity College, Dublin Castle, the Guinness Storehouse and Temple Bar while on board the bus, and the bus will stop nearby. You're free to hop on and off the bus at any stop as many times as you wish during your tour, or you can choose to stay on board for the entire route.
Do bus tours operate every day?
Yes. Please note that our service may be subject to public holidays or local events that involve road closures, like St. Patrick's Day and Christmas Day. Please check our service information page for up-to-date information.
Does my ticket include entrance to any attractions?
Entrance to attractions is not included with your ticket unless explicitly stated in the ticket description. You can browse our ticket range here.
How do I redeem my ticket?
Show your printed ticket to a member of staff at one of our stops or aboard the bus. They'll issue you a receipt that you'll be able to use to hop on the bus throughout the validity of your ticket.
Is there a discount available for groups?
Yes, discounts are available for groups of 15 or more. To find out more, submit an enquiry using our group booking information page.
Is it possible to hire one of the open-top buses for a private event?
Yes, buses are available for private hires and charters. For more information, or to receive a quote, please submit an enquiry via our private hires and charters page.
What is the child ticketing policy?
Child tickets are available for passengers between the ages of 5-15. Children under 5 may travel free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
85% of our buses are wheelchair accessible.
Is food and drink allowed on board the bus?
For health and safety reasons, we request that you don't bring any food or drink on board the bus, with the exception of bottled water.
Can I bring my pet?
No. Pets are not allowed on board the bus. Guide dogs are permitted though.
Do bus tours go ahead in wet weather?
Yes. Our bus tours operate every day, rain or shine. Service is only suspended in the event of extreme weather.
Can I change the date (and time) of my bus tour?
Yes. If you have a ticket that's 'fully flexible' you can change the date (and time) of your bus tour booking without charge. To make the change, please contact us.
If you don't have a 'fully flexible' ticket, we can still change the date of your bus tour, but please be aware that charges may apply.
