The Dublin Express is a bus service that travels between Dublin Airport and Dublin City Centre. It operates on a fast route through Dublin Tunnel, with services running 7 days a week. There are two routes to choose from: the 747 travels between the airport and Heuston Station, and the 757 between the airport and Iveagh Gardens. Buses call at a number of stops along the way, all well situated for central accommodation. There's free wifi available on board the bus, and plenty of space to stow your luggage. With a bus every 30 minutes, you won’t wait long on arrival (or departure), which gives you more time to enjoy your Dublin city break.
Where Do You Stop at Dublin Airport?
Dublin Airport T1 (DUB)
The pick-up and drop-off location at Terminal 1 is outside the Terminal 1 Arrivals building. When exiting the terminal building turn left to find the stop.
Dublin Airport T2 (DUB)
The pick-up location for services to Dublin City is located in Zone 21 outside the Terminal 2 building. When exiting from arrivals, cross the glass walkway, turn left and go down the escalator. The drop-off location at Terminal 2 is just outside the entrance to departures.
How Do I Redeem My Ticket
To redeem your ticket, go straight to board the bus with your confirmation email, or see a Dublin Express team member at the airport.
Hours of Operation
For travel to Dublin City Centre: the first coach leaves Dublin Airport Terminal 1 at 04:05 and the last coach leaves Dublin Airport Terminal 2 at 23:05.
For travel to Dublin Airport:the first coach leaves Georges Quay at 04:28 and the last coach leaves Georges Quay at 23:28.
Dublin Express Staff will be available at the Dublin Airport stops from 05:00 to 21:00 at Terminal 2, and 07:00 to 23:00 at Terminal 1.
Generous Luggage Allowance
You can take two medium-sized suitcases or one large suitcase (each weighing no more than 20kg) on your coach, plus a small piece of hand luggage. Please note: Medium sized items are defined as 70cm x 30cm x 45cm, whilst large items may have a max dimension of 75cm x 50cm x 32cm. Your hand luggage can be no larger than 45cm x 35cm x 20cm.
