Service Amendments: January 14, 19, 20 & 24, 2025
Dear Customers,
Our service will be subject to some service suspensions and amendments in Downtown Washington D.C. on January 14, 19, 20 & 24, 2025, due to road closures to accommodate the 2025 Presidential Inauguration and National March for Life events. Please also expect delays in service from Tuesday, January 14th - Wednesday, January 22nd , 2025, due to intermittent road closures and motorcades to accommodate inauguration events. Security has increased in the Downtown DC area which will lead into and through the 2025 Presidential Inauguration. Please see below for more details:

Day Tour - Red Loop - Official Tour of the National Mall:
First Bus: 09:30am from Stop #1: Union Station (50 Massachusetts Ave NE, Outside main entrance (In front of Shake Shack))
Last Full-Circuit Tour: 4:30pm from Stop #1: Union Station (50 Massachusetts Ave NE, Outside main entrance (In front of Shake Shack))
Last Bus: 4:30pm from Stop #1: Union Station (50 Massachusetts Ave NE, Outside main entrance (In front of Shake Shack))
Full Circuit Time: 1 hour, 50 minutes (approx.)
Bus Frequency: every 30 minutes.
Panoramic Sunset Tour:
Tour Departure Time: 6:30pm from Stop #1: Union Station (50 Massachusetts Ave NE, Outside main entrance (In front of Shake Shack))
Full Circuit Time: 110 mins (approx.)
Note: Please arrive in good time to secure your seat. The Sunset Tour operates on a loop, and is not a hop-on, hop-off tour. Tour times are subject to traffic, weather and other events, so please contact us or check with a member of staff for the most up-to-date Sunset Tour scheduling information.

Big Bus Tours Washington DC operates daily except for:
- Independence Day (July 4th)
- Christmas Day (December 25th)
