You can join the tour from any stop. The principal starting point is at Stop #1 (Canada Place, in front of the Welcome Centre). Please visit our Find a Bus Stop page to see your nearest stop.

The first bus departs Stop #1 (Canada Place) at 9:45am.
In summer, buses arrive every 30 minutes.
In winter, buses arrive every 60 minutes.

Our tour duration is approximately 90 minutes. Please note that our tour duration may be affected by traffic or road closures on some occasions.

Do I need to choose a date for my tour?
Yes – when you book, you will need to select the date you’d like to hop on the bus. If you’re touring with us for more than one day, your ticket must be used across consecutive days, and the date you select at time of booking should be the first day of your tour. Some tours also require you to select a time of travel, to secure your seat. If your ticket has extra inclusions, you may also need to book dates and times for these inclusions after your purchase is complete via our Booking Portal. Yes, Big Bus Tours Vancouver operates every day of the year, apart from the 25th of December. Occasionally local events might affect our service due to road closures. For up-to-date information, please visit our service information page.
How do I redeem my ticket?
Head to any stop and present your booking confirmation (either printed or on your device) to one of on-street staff members, or the driver on board the bus. They will give you a ticket receipt which can be used to board the bus.
Is there a discount available for groups?
Yes, discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. To find out more, submit an enquiry using our group booking information page.

Are child tickets available?
Yes. Child tickets are available for children between the ages of 3–12. Children aged 2 and under may travel free of charge but must sit on their caregiver's lap when the service is full. Strollers and pushchairs must be safely secured on the lower deck or stored at the free wheelchair, walker, and stroller storage at our Canada Place Welcome Centre kiosk. All children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our entire fleet is wheelchair accessible, and buses can accommodate walkers or strollers too. Guests with collapsible wheelchairs, walkers or strollers have courtesy seating on the lower level of the bus. We do not accept reservations for courtesy seating. Due to provincial safety regulations that require all equipment to be secured and stored, strollers and walkers are not permitted to be kept with the guest at their seat or on their lap. We do offer free wheelchair, walker, and stroller storage at our Canada Place Welcome Centre kiosk. Please note that we are unable to accommodate motorized wheelchairs and scooters at this time. If the bus has reached its capacity to accommodate collapsible wheelchairs, walkers and strollers, you will need to wait for the next accessible bus.
I bought a ticket for someone else, but it has my name on it, is this ok?
Yes. The person taking the tour will need to present the booking confirmation (printed or on a device) to a uniformed staff member before hopping on the bus. Staff will scan the QR code and present the guest with a ticket that can be used to board the tour. Tickets must be retained for hopping on the bus - please note that tickets cannot be replaced if lost.
Can I eat and drink on the bus?
No, eating and drinking is not permitted on the bus.
Can I bring a pet on board the bus?
Only service animals are allowed on board. We do not permit other pets on our buses to ensure the comfort and safety of all our passengers.
Can I bring my luggage on the bus?
No. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate luggage on our buses due to limited storage capacity and provincial laws prohibiting luggage and other items that are not securely or properly stored onboard.
Can I smoke or vape on the bus?
No. Smoking or vaping of any substance is not permitted on the bus.
