Please note our service will be affected by some road closures and street detours on Sunday 16th March, 2025, due to the United Airlines Half Marathon. The following routes and stops will be affected:

Downtown (Red Route)

  • Stop #1 (M&M's World) is inaccessible all day.
  • Stop #2 (Times Square East) is inaccessible all day.

All Downtown Loops will start and end at stop #3 – Empire State Building for the day.

Explore Uptown (Blue Route) will not operate all day

Our NYC bus tours are operating daily - see our schedules below.

Please note that our Stop #15 (Midtown East) has moved to E 49th St & 3rd (At the MTA stop across from the firefigher mural) due to construction.

Explore Downtown (Red Route):
First Bus: 9:00am at Stop #1 (M&Ms World - 7th Ave & W 48th St).
Last Full Circuit Tour: 5:00pm at Stop #1 (M&Ms World - 7th Ave & W 48th St).
Last Bus: 5:00pm at Stop #1 (M&Ms World - 7th Ave & W 48th St).
Frequency: every 15 minutes
Full Circuit Time: 90 minutes (approx.)

Explore Uptown (Blue Route):
First Bus: 10:00am at Stop #14 (Hope Sculpture - 7th Ave & W 53rd St).
Last Bus: 4:00pm at Stop #14 (Hope Sculpture - 7th Ave & W 53rd St).
Last Full Circuit Tour: 4:00pm at Stop #14 (Hope Sculpture - 7th Ave & W 53rd St).
Frequency: every 30 minutes
Full Circuit Time: 75 minutes (approx.)

Night Tour:
Departs: 7:00pm at Stop #1 (M&Ms World - 7th Ave & W 48th St).
Frequency: one tour per evening
Tour duration: 2 hours (approx.)


Closure Dates

Big Bus Tours New York operates every day except the following:

  • Sunday June 29, 2025 - NY Marathon
  • Friday July 4, 2025 – Independence Day
  • Thursday November 27, 2025 – Thanksgiving
  • Wednesday December 31, 2025 – New Year’s Eve

On rare occasions, we may need to temporarily suspend all service in the instance of very poor weather or for unplanned city events.
