What to see in The Gardens
The Kensington Palace Gardens are a tranquil oasis for you to explore. Spot native wild flowers in the Wildflower meadow, walk under an arched arbour of red-twigged lime in Cradle Walk and visit the new Diana Princess of Wales statue in the Sunken Garden.
The Orangery
Originally designed by the visionary architect Nicholas Hawksmoor in 1704, and later enhanced by the renowned Sir John Vanbrugh, The Orangery was commissioned by Queen Anne as a lavish greenhouse for her beloved orange trees in winter. Now it's a beautiful restaurant offering a royally-inspired dining experience, the perfect complement to your visit.
