About the Berlin Dungeon
Explore over 800 years of History at the Berlin Dungeon, a walk-through attraction that presents Berlin's dark past through a series of immersive performances. Featuring talented actors, elaborate sets and costumes, realistic special effects and convincing illusions, The Berlin Dungeon transports visitors into the city’s most perilous past, from plague-ravaged medieval times to the tumultuous events of the 20th century.

Interactive Live Shows
Your journey through the Berlin Dungeon will introduce you to some of the city's cursed and creepy characters through different interactive shows. You'll discover the plight of a headless knight, be tended by the overly enthusiastic plague doctor, fall victim to the torturer and his beloved instruments, escape the witch hunt through a labyrinth of tunnels, and much more.
Thrilling Rides
Your Berlin Dungeon experience begins in the Elevator of Doom, a medieval elavator winched by rusty cogs and chains. Later you'll escape persecution by raft through the secret tunnels of Berlin in the 14th century. At the end of your adventure, you'll take a drop into the unknown on Berlin’s only indoor freefall tower.
Actors and Special Effects
Talented actors bring to live historical characters from Berlin's past, including beheaded knight Erich Valke, the plague doctor, the torturer, the crazed inquisitor, madman King Albert Frederick, the White Lady haunting the crypt of Berlin Cathedral and Berlin serial killer Carl Großmann. Special effects include mysterious fogs, haunting illusions, hyper-realistic blood and gore, and meticulously detailed sets and costumes.

Please note that visitors 14 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. The Berlin Dungeon is recommended for visitors aged 10+ (visitors aged 8 and under are not permitted to enter). Note that an FFP2 mask and full proof of vaccination or recovery or valid negative test is required. Please check the current hygiene measures before your visit.
